Natural Polymers

Rubber trees' latex will be used to make natural rubber. Chemically, it's known as the isoprene units polymer. Natural rubber is sticky, squishy, and has a limited ability to reshape itself. The lack of cross-linkage between polymeric chains is responsible for these features. Natural rubber is brittle at low temperatures (T283 K) and soft at high temperatures (T> 335 K), and it has a high water absorption capacity, making it a semi-fluid, sticky material. It's also soluble in non-polar solvents and oxidising chemicals attack it radially.
