As the call for the postponement of JEE Main 2023 grows stronger, a new petition was submitted on Tuesday to the Bombay High Court asking for the postponement of the January session of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main 2023) due to the upcoming Class 12 pre-board exams for numerous boards. The 75% requirement to be eligible for JEE Main 2023 was also contested in the suit filed with the Bombay High Court. Additionally, the petition urged that the eligibility requirements for 75% be loosened.
JEE Main 2023 Exam Date :
Dates for the JEE Main 2023 exam have been released by NTA at www.jeemain.nta.nic.in . JEE Main exam session 1 in 2023 will take place on January 24, 25, 27, 28, 29, 30, and 31. The second phase will take place on April 6, 8, 10, 11, and 12. There will be two attempts in January and April for the NTA JEE Main 2023.

JEE Main is a national level engineering entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to undergraduate engineering programs at various engineering colleges in India. - The exam consists of three sections: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
- Each section has 30 MCQs.
- The total duration of the exam is 3 hours.
- The exam is held in both online and offline modes.
Paper 2 (B.Arch/B.Planning):
- The exam consists of three sections: Mathematics, Aptitude, and Drawing.
- Section 1 (Mathematics) has 30 MCQs.
- Section 2 (Aptitude) has 50 MCQs.
- Section 3 (Drawing) has 2 questions.
- The total duration of the exam is 3 hours.
- The exam is held in offline mode only.
Syllabus:
The syllabus for JEE Main 2023 exam is based on the class 11th and 12th syllabus of the respective boards. The detailed syllabus can be found on the NTA website.
Admission Process:
Based on the JEE Main 2023 exam scores, candidates will be shortlisted for the JEE Advanced exam. The top 2,50,000 candidates (including all categories) in JEE Main 2023 will be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced 2023. The final admission to undergraduate engineering programs will be based on the JEE Advanced 2023 rank and the choices filled by the candidate in the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) counselling.
